Rescuing—and transforming—a suffering puppy desperate to live.

Pure innocence flowed from the eyes of this little darling, pink, defeated puppy dying from mange. We knew we had a survivor on our hands the way he gobbled down his food, but his fear of medicated baths and his shy inward nature fooled us, at first, into thinking he was an introvert.

Scamper grew more playful and loving with every day, and his stubborn mange meant he was with us for about two months, during which time he transformed into one of the most popular boys on campus! We vaccinated, neutered and launched him into his first big job: Manager of Play. Meet Scamper now!
