‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may have finally had enough of his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), and moving on with his life. At least, that’s what we’re hoping for. He’s had the rug pulled out from under his feet too many times and his family doesn’t respect him.
This is when he’ll be most likely to abandon ship more than he already has, and we’re thinking as tempting as the offer may be, he will have other things in mind, like blackmailing his father for moving the dead body of Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).
The news is out, and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be offering Adam Newman a job at Jabot! Yep! We could be seeing Adam join the team at Jabot and work for his father’s longest-living rival! This would be the thing in recent memory as a Newman joins the Abbotts!
While I think this would be awesome for Adam and would be one of the best things to happen to him for a while, I’m not so sure that Adam is going to go for it. He finally has a leg up on his father and can use it to his advantage to push the old man out of Newman, as well as his sister, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
It’s about time that Adam earns something and has someone respect him for who he is. However, his pride may take over and he’ll decline it. If he doesn’t, he’ll surely rise the ranks in Jabot quickly and seeing Jack and Adam together in more scenes would be a really cool dynamic! I would love to see more scenes between Jack and Adam.
