There was a post on Facebook about the puppy. We cancelled all appointments, and went and got the puppy. Then we found him – Victor was tied up to a shrub, hidden from view, emaciated, and with a deep neck wound. His wound is wider than other rope burn cases we’ve had, probably because he kept straining and pulling to get away. Although near a big supermarket, the spot he was tied up at is impossible to see from the street…

That an owner could inflict so much pain and suffering on Victor, an innocent animal, is abominable. It is gratifying to know that the rescuers arranged for the veterinarians to provide Victor with much needed surgical procedures.
