We shudder to think about the painful starvation that would have killed this beautiful baby if we hadn’t rescued him. His face had been hit by a passing vehicle and his teeth were completely smashed. We scooped him up, and brought him together with his worried Mommy to Animal Aid, where we treated this traumatised little boy with pain medication, stabilized his jaw, removed the broken teeth and treated the wounds in his mouth. With his mother’s loving encouragement, he soon began to nurse again. We named him Autumn, and he turned out to be one of the biggest social butterflies ever, making friends with everyone he met.
