When we arrived at the rescue site, an angel was lying on a grate covering a sewer. His one remaining eye wide in terror. The other eye was ruptured beyond recognition, causing him unimaginable pain.
We think a vehicle had hit him with force so blunt it pushed the eye right out of the socket. He ran the moment our rescue team approached him, and in hindsight, we realize how traumatized he must have been because this boy, once he recovered from eye removal surgery, was such an all-day cuddler we called him Koala-bear!
His smile never stops saying: “thank you for saving me.” Meet Koala Bear now!

A wᴏman wrᴏte:”Relieved to see that even though we could not save his eye, we could still ease his pain and witness his cheerful personality. It’s saddening to realise that street dogs mostly face the cruelty of people and are not taken in a positive perspective . People think they are trash which is very hurtful. Whenever I see people treating street dogs in a bad way I always make a point to confront them. Please Please treat street dogs like other animals and if you see anyone treating street dogs in a bad way reach out to them.🙏🙏🙏”
